Tammy Pearson serves as the director of Project Leadership, a non-profit that encourages students to complete high school and pursue post-secondary educations. She has lived in Grant County since 1991, the year she graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor degree in journalism and started her journalism career at the Marion Chronicle-Tribune. She worked for the Gannett company for 16 years in a variety of roles, from reporter to editor, where she emphasized community journalism and news about local people and issues. Pearson joined the Community Foundation of Grant County and its Project Leadership team in August 2007. Since that time, she and her colleagues have concentrated on recruiting and retaining students into Indiana’s Twenty-first Century Scholars program. In her new role, Pearson continues to strive for positive change for three of her passions – children, education and community.
Dick Daniel, Community Scholarship Liaison

Dick Daniel serves as the Community Scholarship Liaison for Project Leadership Delaware County. Dick is a long-time Delaware County resident and has a 30-year history with Muncie Community Schools. As a former educator and principal, Dick has a passion for education and the community’s youths. This passion has led him to take up Project Leadership’s mission to recruit and retain Delaware County students in high school and the state of Indiana's Twenty-first Century Scholars program.
Julie McGee, Graduation Coach

Julie McGee serves as Graduation Coach for Project Leadership Delaware county. Julie is a former educator who has worked with students at the high school and post-secondary level. As an instructor at Ball State University and as a high school social studies teacher Julie developed a passion for working with youthm. A graduate of Michigan State University, Julie has a passion for working with youth and is excited to bring Project Leadership's mentoring program to the students of Delaware County.
