On Saturday, April 24th, Project Leadership and IWU’s Grow Nurses program are partnering to provide a unique evening field trip experience. Follow the North Star at Conner Prairie is an interactive experience that requires participants to play the part of an escaped slave. Be aware participants will be walking outside on rough terrain, told to keep their eyes focused downward and spoken to in an abrupt manner.

On Saturday, April 17th, Project Leadership will be visiting all three of Grant County’s colleges. Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana Wesleyan University and Taylor University will all be opening their doors to mentors, mentees and parents interested in learning more about these local schools. The bus will depart promptly from Project Leadership’s offices at 8 am.

On Tuesday, April 13th Project Leadership will be presenting its final training for the 2009-2010 series. This training will deal with Teen Sexuality and features Indya Morton from the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Grant County. The training will be held from from 6-7 pm at Ivy Tech's Marion campus.
