Assessment

Measuring Student Learning:

Formative Assessments

  • Observe student participation during the Never Have I Ever activity and class discussion about how experiences contribute to learning and skill development.

  • Monitor student understanding during the mini lesson as they compare Project-Based, Service-Based, and Work-Based employability experiences, providing clarification when needed.

  • Confer with students as they complete the "Graduation Pathways: Employability Skills" sheet, offering feedback as they identify experiences that align with their interests, career goals, and the skills they hope to develop.

  • Review student participation during the reflection and class discussion, ensuring students can explain the purpose of Indiana's Employability Skills Graduation Pathway and describe the benefits of each type of experience.
