Agile Work Profiler

The Agile Work Profiler (AWP) is a career literacy tool that identifies your top skills and interests, your Agilities, as they relate to the workforce. The AWP helps students identify strengths, match interests with valued workforce skills, inform resume-building, and plan for relevant education, training, or certifications.

Military Resources

As you start your military journey, explore the different branches of the military, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or Space Force, to find which branch and jobs fit your interest, skills, and goals. Use the resources below to explore your options and help you make informed decisions about your future.

Preparation

Whether you are planning a long-term career in military service or using enlistment as a springboard, these videos serve as a guide on how to get started and find the best fit for you!

At the conclusion of the Senior Launch Lab, please complete the student lab survey below.

SENIOR TIMELINE

  • Research:

    • Explore the different military branches and careers to find your best fit.​

    • Research the required exams and training programs correlated to your desired branch and career.​

  • ASVAB:

    • Study for the ASVAB and take it as early as your junior year of high school.​

    • The more you prepare, the higher your chances are of qualifying for a top choice career field.

  • Recruiting & Evaluation:

    • Find a local recruiter and schedule a meeting.​

    • Then, you will complete a series of evaluations at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) to ensure that you are mentally, physically, and morally fit to serve.

  • Contract:

    • Once you pass all evaluations, you will choose your job and officially sign your enlistment contract.​

    • Prepare a list of jobs you're interested in.

    • Choose your timeline: Delayed entry or straight to basic training.
