  • Observe student participation during the logo recognition discussion and class conversation about logos and slogans.

  • Monitor student engagement as they explore careers within their selected career clusters on O*NET.

  • Confer with students as they identify the skills, values, and career goals they want to communicate through their personal brand.

  • Review student progress as they develop their personal logo and slogan.
     

Summative Assessments

  • Completed Personal Logo Planning worksheet

  • Completed Personal Logo/Slogan design

  • Identification of personal values, skills, and career goals represented in the design

  • Creation of a personal slogan that reflects the student's personal brand

  • Portfolio submission of completed lesson artifacts

Students demonstrate mastery by:

  • Explaining the purpose of logos and slogans in creating a personal brand.

  • Identifying personal values, skills, and career goals they want to communicate.

  • Designing a logo that visually represents their personal brand.

  • Creating a slogan that reflects their career aspirations and personal identity.

  • Applying career exploration to develop a meaningful personal branding artifact.
