Lab Resources
Across our 14 partnering school districts, Project Leadership Career Coaches engage in specialized in-school labs that help students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), college applications and scholarships.
Scholar Success Lab
Project Leadership's 21st Century Scholar Success Lab is a 9th-12th grade lab to assist Scholars in the completion of their Scholar Success Program (SSP) activities. Project Leadership Career Coaches work with Scholars from each grade level to complete the 3 activities for their grade level and complete any outstanding activities from previous years. SSP activities focus on academic planning, college and financial aid preparation, and career exploration and development.
FAFSA Lab
Project Leadership's FAFSA Lab is a 12th-grade lab designed to assist graduating students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In this lab, Project Leadership provides students and their families with assistance with the FAFSA, from account creation to form completion. After students complete the FAFSA form, Career Coaches help them interpret their Student Aid Index (SAI) and understand how it impacts the cost of attending their chosen institution.
College Application Lab
In alignment with Indiana's College Go! Week, Project Leadership hosts College Application Labs for graduating seniors who plan to attend college. College Go! Week takes place during the last full week of September, during which many participating institutions waive their application fees. During this lab, Project Leadership Career Coaches help students navigate the college application process. Below is a link to applications for colleges and universities in Indiana and nearby states.
Scholarship Lab
In partnership with the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County and the Community Foundation of Grant County, Project Leadership hosts senior Scholarship Labs. During this lab, Project Leadership Career Coaches guide students through their respective community foundation scholarship application and assist students in creating a polished application.
