About the Curriculum
Welcome to Middle School CONNECT, a preparing for college and career curriculum designed to help students discover who they are, explore the opportunities available to them, and begin building a meaningful plan for the future. Throughout this curriculum, students will investigate careers and colleges, develop essential workplace skills, create a personalized portfolio, and prepare for the transition to high school and beyond. Every lesson is designed to build confidence through hands-on experiences, meaningful reflection, real world exploration, and authentic work products that document each student's growth. Rather than focusing on a single destination, CONNECT encourages students to see college and career readiness as an ongoing journey of exploration, goal setting, and personal development that will continue well beyond the classroom.
